The Dragon Boat Festival happens along the Schuylkill River every October. Since the first event in 2002, festival participants and supporters have raised more than $1 million for Fox Chase. Thank you to the teams and all who support Fox Chase Cancer Center through this event.

Recent clinical evidence suggests that premalignant cells associated with ovarian cancer may arise in the fallopian tubes and not the ovaries. Therefore, it may be possible to reduce ovarian cancer risk and mortality among women at high risk through the removal of just the fallopian tubes.

Researchers at Fox Chase Cancer Center found many similarities between ADPKD and cancer’s signaling pathways and inhibitors, highlighting potential avenues for the use of existing cancer therapeutics in the treatment of ADPKD.

Members of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians (L.A.O.H.) Division 25 invite you to participate in the 13th Annual Volley for Life Volleyball Tournament! Join in a fun-filled day of friendly competition while raising money for a great cause and honoring the life and legacy of L.A.O.H. member JoAnne Duffy. Registration is $20 per person, with six players (at least two females) required for a team. Following the tournament, join in the after party at Curley’s Pub, located at Krewstown and Bloomfield Streets in Northeast Philadelphia.
