Chris is the founder, President, and CEO of the Chris Draft Family Foundation (CDFF), a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering families to live healthy lifestyles. He is a nationally recognized community leader and health advocate who serves as an NFL Ambassador, National Ambassador for the Parent Teacher Association, and a national spokesperson on health-related issues, including the care and treatment of asthma, from which he suffers, and lung cancer, the disease that claimed his wife, Keasha, in December 2011.
Stephanie is a Metastatic Lung Cancer Patient and mother of two. In October of 2007, with no risk factors, Stephanie had her world turned upside down with her diagnosis. With a second opinion from Dr. Mehra and a clinical trial – Stephanie was able to stabilize her tumors after seven months of the drug treatment. “It is worth it to me to receive the most progressive treatments possible to sustain my quality of life and my time with my children and in pursuit of other interests, including advocating for lung cancer awareness and funding. Thanks to the incredible team at Fox Chase, I am an active participant in my life, and don’t intend to let lung cancer get in the way of that.”
