Elias Obeid Joins Fox Chase’s Departments of Medical Oncology and Clinical Genetics

PHILADELPHIA, PA (October 25, 2013)—Elias Obeid, MD, MPH, has joined the departments of clinical genetics and medical oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center. He specializes in breast and ovarian cancer risk assessment and in the treatment of patients with breast cancer.

Before joining Fox Chase, Dr. Obeid served as instructor in the department of medicine, section of hematology/oncology at the University of Chicago, where he also completed research fellowship training. In addition, he completed a clinical fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Chicago Medical Center.

Dr. Obeid received his medical degree from American University of Beirut School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at Yale-New Haven Medical Center, Saint Raphael Campus.
