Maureen K. McDade Appointed Vice President of Ambulatory Care at Fox Chase

PHILADELPHIA, PA (December 2, 2014)—Maureen K. McDade has joined Fox Chase Cancer Center as the Vice President of Ambulatory Care. In this role, she will lead staff in all current ambulatory areas and new sites under strategic development. She will be responsible for setting and achieving operational improvements and will focus on throughput of patients, efficient use of resources, providing the optimal patient experience and exceeding all quality measures.

McDade has 25 years of health care experience in physician practice and administrative roles, most recently serving as Associate Vice President of Operations for Jefferson University Physicians at Thomas Jefferson University and Health System. While there, she led a practice-wide deployment of Allscripts for 14 academic departments with combined patient visits of over 500,000.

In addition to expertise in significant revenue cycle management, operational benchmarking, and business process redesign, McDade also has extensive project management experience and led major strategic initiatives in several of her past organizations. Prior to her time at Jefferson, McDade served as Regional Director of Patient Administrative Services at Allegheny Health, Education and Research Foundation, where she oversaw registration, insurance verification, case management, medical records, billing, and cash flow for $1.6 billion of revenue.
