I joined the medical oncology staff at Fox Chase in 1985. My clinical specialty is treating patients with genitourinary cancers, such as prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular cancer.
As an oncologist, my goal is to treat patients as I would wish to be treated. I believe patient education is very important, so I spend time with each patient and their family to help them understand all treatment options. By doing what is best for each individual patient, I make every effort to present the treatment options in a clear and understandable way. These options may include a standard treatment or participation in a clinical trial of a new treatment.
At Fox Chase our tremendous resources, which include people, services and technology, benefit each patient. The cutting- edge research performed here allows us to learn more about cancer and find new ways to improve treatment.
