Faculty Summaries

To ensure Fox Chase remains a leader in the development of state of the art clinical technology, especially radiation oncology technology, we act as a resource for both institutional clinical leaders and external commercial companies as capital needs for both operational and budgeting purposes are identified. We assist in the identification of research and development opportunities to meet mutual goals of all involved with the purpose of the development of long-term commercial clinical technology partnerships. We also assist in the identification, negotiation and review of service contracts for the purpose of achieving effective and cost savings coverage.

Also we will coordinate the initiation of commercial research partnerships and/or long term commercial relations for any opportunities which may have potential for the institution, and to ensure that commercial conversations result in comprehensive agreements and contracts to address the best interest of the department involved, with best pricing reflected. These agreements to be in accordance with the standards of the Office of R&D Alliance and all terms/conditions as they relate to purchase, pricing, research/development, loaners and service, etc. are negotiated, addressed, agreed upon and deliverables received.

We keep apprised of technology that is commercially available and futuristic emerging clinical technology. Availability of technology is matched with the interest of the Fox Chase clinical departments. Identifying opportunity ensures Fox Chase remains state of the art in technology acquisition and allows our faculty to lead the field of oncology.  As new technology becomes a part of patient treatment, clinical databases showing patient outcomes further validates the effectiveness of the technology.
