Albert EgnerIn 1980, Albert Egner was at home one day when his phone rang. On the other end was a woman he had never met before, named Bernadette, who had dialed her old phone number out of curiosity. It turned out that Al was the lucky person who inherited her phone number. After a long conversation, they decided to meet. A courtship began and continued for 20 years, when Al decided to make it "official." The two married in 2002, when Albert was in his early 60's. |
Nancy FinneganAlthough Nancy Finnegan lives in Florida, she often visits with family and friends in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. While up north visiting her sisters in 2001, Nancy went to her doctor with complaints of a lingering cold and lots of bruising. After blood tests, an ultra sound and a bone marrow biopsy, she was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL). |
