Cancer Treatment at Fox Chase Cancer Center

During a one-day visit to our Breast Evaluation Center, an entire team of specialists (including the surgeon, medical oncologist and radiation oncologist) will develop a comprehensive treatment plan tailored especially for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients.

Cancers affecting the digestive system include, but are not limited to: Colon and rectal, esophageal, gastrointestinal carcinoid, liver (hepatic), pancreatic, and stomach (gastric) cancer.

Cancers of the prostate, urinary tract, kidneys and testicles.

Cancer types affecting the reproductive tract in women include: cervical, endometrial, ovarian, uterine sarcoma, and vulvar cancer.

Head and Neck
Head and neck cancer refers to tumors that occur in the lining of the nose, mouth (oral cancer) or throat as well as cancers of the thyroid and salivary glands. Doctors also include advanced skin cancers of the head and neck (scalp, ears, face and neck) in this category.

Hematologic cancers, such as Hodgkin's lymphoma, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, leukemia and myeloma, affect the blood and bone marrow.
