Rapid Access: Rapid Referrals for your Patients

Rapid Referral for your Patients

At Fox Chase Cancer Center, we recognize that a diagnosis of cancer is frightening, and patients want to be seen by a cancer specialist as soon as possible. We also know that physicians and their patients may not wish to wait several days or make several phone calls for an appointment.

Rapid Access Service enables your patients to be seen within 24 hours or the next business day of your referral.

Three Steps:

New Patient Registration

  • By fax at 215-728-5666.
  • Refer patients to Fox Chase Cancer Center your MyFoxChase account or through the form

A disease-specific nurse navigator will coordinate your patient's care and inform you of your patient's scheduled appointment on the day of your referral. Following the appointment, our physicians will communicate their findings to you.

Patients are asked to bring all treatment records including slides, tissue blocks, X-rays and scans to the first appointment. This helps avoid repeat tests or delays in treatment recommendations.
