Fox Chase Cancer Center Opens First New Jersey Location in Voorhees

PHILADELPHIA (March 28, 2024) — Fox Chase Cancer Center is proud to welcome patients to its newly opened office, which is located at 502 Centennial Boulevard, Suite 7, in Voorhees, New Jersey. The site, which is the first that Fox Chase has opened in New Jersey, welcomes patients from within the region and beyond for treatment for urologic oncology, benign urologic conditions, plastic and reconstructive surgery, and radiation oncology consults.

“Roughly 20% of our current patients come to one of our Philadelphia locations from New Jersey. We are very excited to now be able to offer care closer to home for these patients,” said Robert Uzzo, MD, MBA, FACS, President and CEO of Fox Chase.

The new office offers multiple services in urologic oncology and includes providers in prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, adrenal mass, testicular cancer, penile cancer, ureteral cancer, and urethral cancer. Additionally, providers at the new location are available to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia, hematuria, kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, and urethral stricture.

Other services such as plastic and reconstructive surgery consultations in breast, head, and neck sarcomas are also offered. Additionally, radiation oncology consults are available for prostate cancer and bladder cancer patients.

With comprehensive care for a wide range of conditions, Fox Chase urologists and urologic oncologists are focused on not just treating conditions but maintaining and improving patients’ quality of life.

“With a urology department that is nationally recognized for its excellence, patients can now receive care at a more convenient location from a team renowned for its knowledge of both the management of urologic cancers and benign urologic conditions,” said Uzzo, who is also Executive Director of the Fox Chase – Temple Urologic Institute.

Among some of the providers now seeing patients at this location are Alexander Kutikov, MD, FACS, Chair of the Department of Urology; Eric Horwitz, MD, FABS, FASTRO, Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology; Sameer Patel, MD, FACS, Chief of the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery; and Andres Correa, MD, Director of Research for the Department of Urology.

Together these providers have a combined 65 years of experience at Fox Chase treating the complex health needs of patients afflicted with cancer. They are national leaders in their respective fields, having published over 700 peer-reviewed research articles.
